Recently I got an error that happened only on a very specific version of Chrome. In order to replicate the issue, I needed to be able to run an older version of Chrome on my computer. There are services out there to do just that, but I wanted to share a simple but effective method to do this from your own computer (windows only).

I recently discovered the use of Windows Sandbox on my Win11 machine. It's a real pleasure to work with, starts really fast and you get a fully secured sandboxed environment.

From there, simply download the chrome version of your choice from this website: slimjet.com/chrome/google-chrome-old-versio..

All you need to do is install it and test your website :-) tadaa!
